La Periodista (The Journalist) is an Argentine drama, thriller and historical mystery television series created by Eyal Sadaka and Juliana Glanz and produced by ARGPROD. Across four generations of one Argentine family, from 1940 to 2025, four women - each a journalist facing the authoritarian moment of her own era - inherit the same buried story and the same question: what is the truth for, if telling it costs you everyone you love?
Four seasons of eight episodes each. It is one complete story with a locked ending, not an open-ended run: a full four-season arc is mapped, and the Season 1 pilot is written in screenplay format.
